West Sussex is a county in South East England on the English Channel coast. The ceremonial county comprises the shire districts of Adur, Arun, Chichester, Horsham, and Mid-Sussex, and the boroughs of Crawley and Worthing. West Sussex lies within the historic county of Sussex, except for a small area in the north around Gatwick Airport. West Sussex is very well known for keeping up the tradition of bonfire celebrations and musicals. The county is home to the Brighton Festival and the Brighton Fringe, England's largest arts festival.
