Anglesey is an Island of the North West coast of Wales.  It has a population of around 70,000 of which 75% are Welsh speaking.  The Island offers tourists and locals a host of places to visit.  The Island is home to the village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch which is famous for its extraordinarily long name and fondly referred to as Llanfair p g.  The Island is home to a number of beautiful and blue flag beaches from Newborough with its forest walks and extensive warrens in the south to Cemaes and its beautifully golden sandy beaches in the north.  The Island is scattered with hidden coves and bays and is a ramblers delight.  The Anglesey Sea zoo is a popular tourist attraction along with the hidden gardens at Plas Cadnant, the historic castle at Beaumaris and the prominent South Stack in the west of the Island.  You could spend days and weeks exploring this Island and discovering the beauty and hidden gems there is on offer.
