The Lordleaze Hotel, once an 18th century farmhouse, is a comfortable country hotel offering the finest standards with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Ideal for both business and pleasure.

Now in our 18th year The Owen Family personally run the Lordleaze Hotel with attention to detail and a warm atmosphere - Our restaurant has been awarded Taste of The West Gold for service, quality of the food and use of local produce.
The only 3 star Hotel in Chard we are close to the South Coast and many other places of interest in the heart of Cider country.
Set in a secluded area on the Somerset, Dorset, Devon borders we are surrounded by natural pasture land but only three minutes away from Chard town centre. It is a perfect location for those seeking peace and tranquillity.
Our 25 en suite bedrooms are ideal for a night away or a long holiday, with all bedrooms being Double or twin bedded and available for single occupancy there are ground floor bedrooms, a room with disabled facilities , Family rooms , and a 4 poster bedroom - there is something for everyone.
Weddings, Conferences, Parties of all shapes & sizes, Bar Snacks & Fine Dining or just a quiet pint The Lordleaze Hotel awaits.
we also accept well behaved pets ! in certain bedrooms, by prior arrangement, and also in the Hotel grounds (unfortunately not in public areas).

Weddings are special at The Lordleaze Hotel, our reputation for quality, efficiency, professionalism and hospitality are second to none. 'We were at your hotel over the weekend. I am Jock Holden's sister and I would just like to say what a wonderful weekend you gave us all, with your excellent service and lovely meals. We were all amazed at how efficient you were in the kitchen and waiter service, getting the meals on tables without any fuss or bother and still hot! That was very well done and I loved your speech at the end as well! Please give my thanks to all your staff, they did well and were so friendly too. Just what you want from an hotel. We live in Northampton, a bit too far to make you our local unfortunately! Well done.
