River Cottage in The Waterside Inn is available for weddings that are very intimate. It can accommodate up to 12 guests with ease with light refreshments offered on arrival, guests are then seated in the elegant dining salon, where the ceremony is conducted by the local registrar. Celebrations can continue in the adjacent drawing room while our discreet and experienced staff lay the table for a sumptuous wedding breakfast or alternatively, the entire wedding party can relocate to the restaurant.

The room hire charge of £3,000 includes the refreshments for your guests on arrival, fresh flowers and menus personalised for the event.

Business Meetings

Now you can share multi-Michelin star dining with a larger circle, with the entire Waterside Inn available - exclusively - for your own personal use.

When the restaurant is officially closed on a Monday and Tuesday, it is open for private hire for an event you will never forget. Ideally for parties of more than 50 guests, every detail of the event can be tailored to your requirements, from serving your guests an exquisite cocktail upon arrival to providing the after-dinner entertainment. A dance floor and marquee can be organised even a bespoke fireworks display (subject to appropriate permissions).
