We currently have three suitable rooms: The Main Hall which can seat up to 180 guests, The Parkes Room which can seat up to 70 guests, and The Mayor's Parlour (by kind permission of the Mayor) which can seat up to 18 guests.

Outside the town hall
Civil Marriage Ceremonies in the Town hall (2 hour maximum)
If you would like to have your civil marriage ceremony in the town hall then the following charges apply.
Main Hall - £150
Parkes Room - £100
Mayor’s Parlour - £100
Wedding Receptions
After your marriage ceremony, you may also like to have your reception in the Town Hall. We hold a Premises License (covering music, dancing & alcohol) so not only can you toast the bride and groom after the ceremony but you can have a fun filled reception into the evening with your friends and family.
Receptions take place in the main hall where you have access to the spacious kitchen and separate bar area.
You are welcome to bring in outside caterers to prepare your wedding breakfast in the kitchens which are conveniently positioned next to the main hall
