The Swinburne Hall is based in the grounds of Colchester Institute. It is a purpose built concert hall seating 220 or if preferred the venue can be made smaller with bi folding doors to accomodate a more intimate audience of 100-150 people. There is ample free parking at the venue.
Ideal for concerts, choirs (100 seat choir rake at the back of the stage) musicals, plays etc. (PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A MINIMUM HIRE OF FOUR HOURS, WE DO NOT TAKE BOOKINGS FOR LONG TERM WEEKLY EVENTS) A Steinway Model D Grand Piano is available to hire at an extra charge.
Licenced Bar available to hire.
