The main lounge, men’s and ladies’ changing rooms have been refurbished to a high standard in recent years. The Misbourne room and Chalfont room are used for a range of club activities; from Pilates and bridge to meetings of the Wine Club. These rooms, along with the Burrows Bar, can be hired for private dining events and meetings when a smaller, more intimate affair is required.
The Club Bars are well stocked with quality beers and lagers. The comprehensive wine list is reviewed regularly by the House Manager, the aim, to provide members, guests and visitors with quality wines and good value.
A large chalet-style dining room extension was constructed in the early 1990s, this project increased the capacity to 120 diners. The Baby Grand piano is put to good use for social functions and regularly used for private events. For larger functions an area of the Dining Room can be set aside to be used as a dance floor, this reduces the capacity of the room to around 100 for a seated banquet event.
The Club takes pride in its catering operation and offers a range of menus for members, visitors and guests. Members have enjoyed increased quality and consistency over recent years and the reputation of the catering at Gerrards Cross has gone from strength to strength. Improvements to the kitchen layout, equipment and the recruitment of an excellent team in the kitchen, led by House Manager Paul Lancaster, have all played their part.
