Axe Cliff Golf Club is a scenic course designed by legendary golf course architect, James Braid. It is one of the oldest courses in Devon having been founded in 1894.The fantastic views from the club and golf course are breath taking. The Jurassic walk through to Lyme Regis passes through the course. One can see across Lyme Bay to Torquay in the west and Portland Bill to the east. Film crews use the backdrop on a regular basis.
It is ideal for weddings and other functions with numbers up to 100 guests. Buggies can be hired out to get the perfect photo from the cliff tops across the bay.
