Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding.
Here at The Rufus Centre, our dedicated team will work with you to ensure your Wedding reception is a memorable one and as relaxed and stress free as possible. In this respect we are happy to offer as much or as little assistance as you require.

Using only local highly recommended and trusted partners we can provide an extensive range of services including full catering, decoration, entertainment and bar facilities or, if you prefer, we are happy to accommodate service providers of your choice in those all-important areas. It’s your wedding, you tell us what you want.

The Lockyer Suite

The venue for your special day will be our superb Lockyer Suite. You will have exclusive use of this suite which consists of a large hall with spacious adjoining reception room, private bar, exclusive toilets and fully equipped kitchen. The maximum capacity of the Lockyer Suite for a sit down meal is 200 people.

Sliding oak doors join the main hall and reception room. These can be left open for larger parties, closed for segregated dining or to create a quiet area.

Our well tended and spacious grounds afford numerous opportunities for photographs; a lasting memory of what we are sure will be a very special occasion.

Civil Wedding & Partnership Ceremonies

We have three rooms to choose from to hold your Civil Wedding or Partnership Ceremony:

The Davis Suite – £350

The smart, modern décor and excellent natural lighting provided by windows on three sides comprises to make this one of our most popular rooms. Located on the second floor, accessed by stairs or lift, this suite is fully air conditioned.

The Moorfield Room - £300

This bright and airy room has lovely views overlooking lawns and is situated on the ground floor adjacent to the Signing Room and just a few yards away from the foyer and main hall.

Seating up to 30

The Warrenfield Room - £250

Situated on the first floor, this is a smaller room suitable for more intimate ceremonies.

Seating up to 25

Prices are for a fully decorated ceremony room with a separate interview room and are inclusive of VAT.

Should you decide to hold your reception with us, these prices will be reduced by £50. Please note that the arrangements with the Registrar MUST be made by yourselves. You can provisionally reserve the date with us at The Rufus Centre but please do not confirm your booking with us until you have confirmed a date and time with the Registrar.

Parties

Let’s be honest, we all love a party. But we also know that organizing one can be a stressful and time consuming affair. So let us do all the hard work for you.

Our well-equipped and accessible venue has played host to a multitude of functions catering for guests of all ages. So whether it’s a birthday party, multi-cultural event, anniversary celebration or club dinner you are planning, our expert staff will be delighted to work with you to ensure your celebration is one to remember.

Boasting unrivalled contacts among local, well-established and trusted partners, we can arrange catering, decorating and entertainment or organize everything yourself and use your own providers.

For your celebration you will have exclusive use of the Lockyer Suite, with its own private bar, toilet facilities, separate reception room and adjoining fully equipped kitchen.

Our friendly and flexible staff will prepare the room layout to your instructions for the start of the celebration and clear away at the end of it, leaving you free to concentrate on enjoying yourself. A member of the Rufus team will be available throughout to attend to any last minute requests.

Outdoor Celebrations

The Rufus Centre offers you the perfect outdoor event space whether you’re organizing a summer ball or planning an outdoor children’s party with bouncy castles and outside games. Our large playing field is flat, well drained, surrounded by hedgerows therefore safe and private.
