Ceremonies

As well as traditional civil ceremonies, Shortmead is licensed to conduct ceremonies from cultural denominations as well as humanist weddings.

More recently, we’ve also conducted a number of civil partnerships so whatever your requirements, you can rest assured that we have the correct facilities and can work with communities to provide catering according to religious and cultural dietry requirements.

Receptions

If you choose to have a religious ceremony, rest assured that you and your guests may continue your memorable day at Shortmead in style. From the most intimate gathering to a large and grand affair, we are the perfect venue for your reception.

We can source everything from flowers, music and decoration right through to transport and accommodation. When it comes to food our dedicated chef can work with you to select the ideal menu for you and your guests.

Events planning
