Grocers' Hall is hired out privately for each event, giving you flexibility and freedom to enjoy our venue. Our spaces include the stunning Livery Hall; the contemporary Piper Room; and three additional breakout spaces.

Grocers' Hall is perfect for conferences up to 180, drinks receptions up to 250, fine dining up to 150, or lunch presentations up to 96. We can also enhance your event with tutored wine tastings, themed events or team building activities.

Taking its name from the stunning tapestry which adorns one of the walls and was designed by John Piper in 1968, this room has a modern, corporate feel and is bathed in natural light.

Located on the Ground Floor and adjoining the Entrance Hall, it is a splendid room for all types of functions. For larger events it can be used in conjunction with the Livery Hall on the first floor.

The Entrance Hall is spacious and light, it can easily accommodate a registration desk, as well as corporate branding and exhibition stands.

Two arches separate the reception area from the main Entrance Hall, which adjoins the Piper Room and Pitt Library, making it a useful area to serve teas/coffees and drinks before, during or after an event.

The Entrance Hall also has telephone points and 13 amp sockets.
