Wem Sports & Social Club is situated in the heart of Wem, North Shropshire. We are home to Shawbury United Football Club, Wem Bowling Club, Wem Ladies Hockey Club & our own in house Darts and Dominoes teams.
We have a very comfortable Members Lounge which is for the use of all our Members and their guests. To become a Member it only take a couple of minutes and cost just £3 per year or £1.50 for concessions.
Our Function Room is available for hire, this can be done as a one off or as a regular booking. It holds 120 people comfortably and has its own bar. Some of the current uses for the Function Room are - Line Dancing, Keep Fit, Pilates, Karate, Meetings, Party Nights, Weddings, Funerals, Band Practice, Race Nights, the list goes on!
If you are looking for a venue for your Party/Meeting/Class etc then drop by to have a look to see if we will be able to help.
The Club has an ample Car Park and is situated directly next door to Wem Swimming Pool which is well sign posted as soon as you enter Wem.
