The village is situated approximately 2 miles off the A12 halfway between Woodbridge and Aldeburgh. The famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall is only one mile away. The village no longer has a shop or post office but these can be found either at Campsea-Ashe or Snape, there is a farm shop within 2 miles of the village.
