Kennington Park Community Centre is friendly and well kept traditional Community Centre based at the front of Kennington Park Estate. It hosts a wide range of activities and services for both Hyde residents and for the surrounding community.

Activities include keep fit, coffee mornings, youth club, karate, training courses, homework club, as well as being a host for community meetings and seasonal celebrations.

The centre benefits from ongoing financial investment from Hyde to improve the facility. Hyde Plus are also on hand to support residents and local community groups to make maximum use of the Centre.

Rooms and Facilities:

Hall:

Lovely large space of 110sqm with stage and plenty of tables and chairs that can host all manner of events and activities.
Capacity = 100

Meeting Room:

A quiet and intimate space of 12sqm that can seat up to 10 people for meetings, focus groups and training.

Kitchen:

Tea and Coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave and oven. Serving hatch that opens onto the hall.

The centre is fully wheelchair accessible and wireless connectivity will soon be available to service providers running sessions from the centre. An investment to create an IT drop in facility is also underway and due for completion by end of March 2013.
