Palms Hill is an idyllic new marquee wedding venue near Wem in rural Shropshire, with views of the tranquil Welsh hills.
Upon entering the gates and being greeted by Palms Hill House, you realise why we are so proud to share our home with you. Ahead lies our picturesque pond, a favourite photographic location, and beyond, the rolling Shropshire landscape gives way to the wonderful distant views.
The drive curls round the front of the house through dappled trees and leads to the exclusive event area. Our light and airy marquee venue boasts a pagoda entrance, allowing you to greet each and every one of your guests. The marquee benefits from clear panels along its entire length, enabling your guests to gaze upon the sun setting over the Shropshire countryside and beautiful Welsh hills beyond. Our marquee here at Palms Hill seats up to 180 for a wedding breakfast however can be reconfigured for more intimate gatherings.
At Palms Hill we are lucky enough to be able to offer couples flexibility regarding the areas used on their dream wedding day. In addition to the marquee lawn our Victorian walled garden makes another perfect place for a drinks reception; a charming setting in which family can catch up amongst the apple trees and friends can enjoy a relaxing game of croquet. From the West Lawn the land slopes gently towards our picturesque duck pond with its attractive old stone terrace, and the backdrop of our lovely Victorian home.

Palms Hill offers an alternative venue for your event and seats up to 180. For smaller numbers our marquee can easily be reconfigured to guarantee the best atmosphere. Whether a private birthday or corporate product launch, we guarantee a quality event to remember.
With spacious grounds and our secluded walled garden there is ample room should you wish to use it. From exhibition displays to bouncy castles, we are flexible and have the vision to bring your event to life.
