Built in 1923 the Bedwas Workmen's Hall has served the needs of the local community for over eighty years.

A registered charity the Bedwas Workmen's Hall (Charity No 1006294) is currently used for a variety of local activities, including youth, music and drama clubs as well as shows and productions.

The Hall offers a generous sized performance space for all types of professional and amateur productions.

Total capacity 500 (cast, crew and audience)

Audience seating is flexible, with stalls, dress circle and balcony available.

Basic stage lighting and sound equipment is included in the hire cost of the auditorium.

With chairs in the stalls packed away, the theatre space doubles as a dance hall with a good sided wooden floor. There is also a refreshments areas for alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, snacks, and confectionary, The bar is staffed by volunteers of the hall and all profits are being directed to the lift fund in order to provide disabled access.
Currently there is no disabled access to any part of the Workmen's Hall, but with continued effort of the bar facility, the steps being taken to rectify this are coming nearer to fruition.
