Plains Community Centre was known as Plains Hall. The building was built in 1926 as a dance hall and since then has undergone extensive refurbishment and extension to provide a better facility for the community.
Community based events for senior citizens, mother and toddlers, councillor surgeries, dance classes and church activities all take place in this centre.
Activities such as sporting events, youth projects, music and arts classes, preparation into work and well-organised social functions would be welcomed by Plains Community Centre.
