Charlotte Toal Community Centre was built in the 1970's and was extended with another level in 1994. It is very much the hub of the community and plays host to a variety of community-based events as well as being hired for the purpose of one off lets. Activities that take place in the centre include keep fit and art classes, Lanarkshire association for mental health, lunch clubs, martial arts and councillors surgeries.
