The Forge Community Centre was built for the community in 1987. As one of North Lanarkshire's busiest community centres, the Forge plays host to an array of diverse activities. Some of these activities include playgroups, after school clubs, girls brigade, mother and toddler group, senior citizen events, dance classes for all ages, the brownies, keep fit classes, cub scouts, church activities and Councillor surgeries.
Any type of well-organised social function or community based activity would be welcomed by the Forge Community Centre and staff.
