Carstairs Community Centre is operated by a management committee who book and run activities and events within the hall. The hall is situated just off the A721 on the road between Lanark and Carnwath. The hall is used by numerous community groups along with local functions and events. The main hall is 130sqm in area it can accommodate 120 people concert style and up to 87 for catered functions, a small hall, meeting room, kitchen and toilet facilities. This hall has a licensed bar which is run by the committee and can be used for functions. The kitchen is suitable for small catered functions and can be used by customers to provide their own teas and coffees. There is on-street parking for this facility.
