Uddingston Community Centre description
Community Hall
Medium (1-150)
Uddingston Community Centre is situated in Bellshill Road and was opened by Prince George H.R.H Duke of Kent in 1937 as an unemployment centre. It was used during war years as a place to socialise for off duty soldiers and was later used as a child clinic. It is now used as a community centre and is managed in partnership between a local management committee and South Lanarkshire Council. The Centre has a busy programme of activities for the community and is also used for functions and other events.
