Calderwood Hall was built in 1975 and is situated on Blackbraes Road close to the John Struthers Nature Area. The premises comprise a main hall with stage, a large and small committee room, kitchen and toilets. The main hall can accommodate up to 170 people seated in concert style and up to 120 for a catered function. The large meeting room can accommodate up to 35 people and the small committee room has a capacity of 15. There are currently dance classes, senior citizens activities, slimming classes and youth activities taking place in the hall. It is suitable for functions and concerts although it does not provide its own sound and lighting systems. The kitchen would be suitable for the provision of catering or for customers to provide their own teas and coffees. It is suitable for a wide range of activities although sporting activities would be restricted due to the lack of lined courts in the hall. There is a small car park to the side of the hall.
