This building was originally the Baptist Church before being acquired by the Council and converted into a day care centre for the elderly. At present older people still use the hall during the day for their activities but it is now available for the general public to hire.

The premises comprise a main hall, kitchen and toilet facilities. The main hall is 84sqm in area and can accommodate up to 154 seated in concert style or 112 for a catered function.

The kitchen is suitable for small functions and can be used by customers to provide their own teas and coffees.

This facility can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities including courses and classes, arts and crafts, sports activities, community meetings, birthday parties, engagement parties, discos, wedding receptions, slimming clubs, martial arts etc.
