Westcliff National Spiritualist Church description
Community Hall
Medium (1-150)
Westcliff National Spiritualist Church was originally founded in 1906 and due to the hard work and dedication of its members, over the years, it has gone from strength to strength. The church was rebuilt in 1964 and is now one of the largest Spiritualist Churches in the country. The church is run by a volunteer committee of around 12 members, who are elected by the church members each year. There are currently five church officers, who, again, are elected by church members each year and give their time voluntarily. These are our President - Mr Norman Oakes, Vice Presidents - Mrs Trisha Wise and Mrs Joy Barber , Treasurer - Mr Dennis Barlow and Secretary - Mrs Kathy Scott. Please feel free to approach any officer or committee member if there is anything you wish to raise, (please see committee tab above).
The church relies solely on its members and all those who attend the church and its special events, for financial support. We are a charitable, non-profit making organisation and all events are run on a low cost basis. We thank you all for your support and know that you will continue to attend as many of the functions and social events as you can - See Events page .
We are able to provide religious services including weddings, naming services and funerals. Click here for information about Spiritualist Ceremonies. Our large hall is also available for community use.
