Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre description
Wedding Venue / Business Meeting Rooms / Hotel / Conference Centre / Party Venue / Funerals and Wakes / Historic Venue
Large (1-300)
Set within 330 acres of English Heritage Grade II listed grounds in the beautiful Shropshire countryside; Lilleshall provides a perfect and unique venue for any celebration, party or special occasion.
The character and charisma of the main house, with its two function rooms featuring traditional oak paneling, feature fire places and stunning views out onto the terrace and Capability Brown inspired gardens, make Lilleshall the ideal choice. Chapters, The Duke’s former library, and The Duke of Sutherland Room are also serviced by an adjacent bar, The Read Room, meaning that your guests are never too far from the main event.
For something a little more modern, Ford Hall, the Duke’s former stables, can be transformed to fit your theme and colour scheme, with the tented walls and Belfast ceiling also adding character to your special event. Or why not make use of the beautiful gardens where a bespoke Tipi or Marquee can be erected to your requirements.
Lilleshall also has a selection of garden games available for you and guests to enjoy on sunny days (surcharge may apply). Great fun for both adults and children alike, they are perfect for keeping guests entertained. Games include Croquet, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4 and Quoits. If you want something a bit more adventurous why not enquire about ‘have a go’ Archery, Orienteering, The Nature Trail, Football, Table Tennis, Large Inflatables, Duck Herding, Falconry, Zorbs, Segways and Clay Pigeon Shooting to name just a few.
Lilleshall is able to offer a range of catering options from buffets and barbecues to fine dining and silver service and have recently become a member of the Red Tractor scheme for good food stand-ards. The chefs are well skilled in event catering meaning that any special anniversary, family dinner, birthday celebration, Christening, Christmas party, Wake or other special occasion will be well catered.
With onsite accommodation, your guests will also be able to stay overnight and enjoy access to the gardens and grounds, use of the state of the art gym, a full English breakfast, Freeview HD TV, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, free WIFI and ample free parking. The recently refurbished 128 bedrooms, some overlooking the Capability Brown inspired ornamental gardens, can cater for up to 186 guests in a mix of single, twin and double en-suite rooms.
The centre is also able to host weddings, conferences, meeting and team building events.
Lilleshall’s Event Co-ordinators are happy to work with you to understand your unique requirements and create your perfect celebration package. No matter how big or small your event, they will work with you from initial enquiry until the day of the event, and can make recommendations based on your budget.
