The Budworth Hall is located on Ongar High Street, close to all the local amenities. Two local authority car parks are available – one opposite in Banson’s Lane, free after 18:00 and all day Sunday, and the other across the High Street next to the library, is free after 18:00 weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday.

The Ballroom, Concert Hall and Committee Room are available for hire. Our facilities can be used for weddings, family events, fund raising, table top sales etc. We also welcome more regular bookings, weekly, monthly or to suit your requirements. The Events page shows the wide range of uses we can accommodate.

A fully licensed bar is available to enhance your function; adjacent to the Ballroom, this is especially useful for weddings, family parties and fundraising events. This takes away the worry or need to arrange bar facilities.

The Ballroom and Concert Hall each have a kitchen. The Concert Hall kitchen can also be used by the Committee Room users.

Using the Budworth Hall for your event will help Ongar and District Community Association maintain this historic Grade 2 listed building for use by the local community for years to come.
