Derbyshire Eco Centre is the county hub for sustainability learning. It has been built using sustainable methods, materials and technology to create an all–weather facility to deliver heritage building skills, sustainable technologies, rural crafts, arts, environment and energy saving courses. It is at the heart of the county council’s drive to combat climate change. The Eco Centre is managed by Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service. The Eco Centre will encourage learning that both benefits and brings together people, places and prosperity. It is the first centre of its kind in the country.
