Welcome to Cropthorne & Charlton Village Hall & Playing Fields. The village hall has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and extension thanks to Lottery funding and the hard work and dedication of the Village Hall Committee. The newly extended and decorated hall now features a large sports hall/auditorium with a purpose-built stage, two other function/meeting rooms, a fully fitted kitchen and toilets. There is a patio area with bench seating and hard standing car parking for up to 26 cars.

The hall also has changing rooms which serve both home and away players for the regular football and cricket matches held on the playing field, known as “The Sheppey”. The playing field is large enough to hold two football pitches and a cricket pitch. It also boasts a great deal of new play equipment for children, as well as permanent adult exercise machines.

The large multi-purpose playing field and the extensive accommodation within the village hall offers excellent opportunities for celebrations, entertainment, sporting events and clubs.
