YPL is a Charity that has been part of Littleport since 2007. When it started its main aim was to help young people of Littleport advance in life and develop skills enabling them to participate in society by providing recreational and leisure time activities in the interest of social welfare.
Since then the Charity has evolved and now provides a huge range of services/amenities for Littleport and surrounding area residents of all ages. At first YPL only had the Centre in Granby Street, but is now spread over three sites, each with its own range of activities and services.
Rooms can be hired individually or collectively. YPL has many different sized rooms and has numerous tables and chairs at its disposal.

Tea Shop
Special diets: YPL Tea Shop provides food cooked to order. The Tea Shop has a liquidiser and choices of drinks and food. If you have any dietary requirements, please just ask one of our volunteers at the Tea Shop.

YPL PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE:-
Large room with a dance floor, mirrors and ballet bars.
Other specialist provision: All our premises have disabled access and disabled toilets. There is also a baby changing facility at the Centre.

We have an IT Suite which hosts nine computers with internet and printing facilities.
It can be used to host meetings where computers are required for training purposes.

YPL Centre's main room can be hired for functions/parties/meetings/clubs. The kitchen can also be hired outside our Tea Shop hours.
The front and back part of the main room can be separated by a curtain.
We also have various other meeting rooms of various sizes which can be hired out.
For meetings, refreshments can be made available.
The Performing Arts Centre hosts a large room with mirrors, ballet bars and dance flooring.
We already host a number of classes in this building, eg, ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, line dancing and carpet bowls.

We have a number of separate rooms in our Centre which can be hired individually or collectively.
All the rooms are a different size so, please ask when contacting us.
At the YPL Centre there is a fully working up to date Recording Studio.
The Recording Studio can be hired out for rehearsals as well as recording. It is big enough to accommodate bands as well as having a vocal recording booth.
Rooms can also be hired out for music lessons.
Unfortunately, the Recording Studio is situated on the first floor and there is no disabled access at the present time. We are currently looking into raising funds to have a lift put in.
