A private heated indoor pool is the home of a thriving swim school.

The facility is new and clean, and the water is kept at a balmy 30 degrees Celsius.

Water Baby Classes run for parents/carers and their babies from 6 weeks to 1 year old. You will learn how to hold your baby in the water, build confidence and develop their swimming instinct through swimming, submersion, floating and song.

Water Toddler Classes run for parents/carers and their children aged 1-3years. Through song and play we encourage independence and enjoyment of the water. This will link perfectly into independent swimming classes as they grow older.

Private and Group Lessons are available for children and adults. There are currently around 50 children enrolled in our learn to swim programme. This follows the ASA's National Plan for Swimming, working towards certificates and Stages.

Classes are small and the teacher is regularly in the water for demonstrations and support. There is space for parents and other siblings on the poolside to watch.

Swimming teacher is Level 2 Aquatics Teacher and holder of teachers Lifesaving Qualification.

Other specialist provision: The pool is kept warm, at 30 degrees, so is good for those with conditions such as arthritis, seizures affected by the cold, the young and elderly. There is a large step unit to assist entry and exit of the water. It is a salt water pool, therefore chlorine levels are relatively low and stable ph. This is of benefit to those with skin conditions and sensitive skin.
