The Armstrong Hall may be hired as a large open space measuring some 20.25m x 11.25m suitable for activities such as aerobics, dances, discos, trade shows and exhibitions, through to dog training sessions, or fitted with seating at floor level or raked from the back of the hall with a maximum capacity of 320 for a conference, meetings, cinema show, (the screen measures 5.0m x 3.5m) musical event, or theatrical production, or laid out as a dining area for up to 120 for wedding receptions, supper lectures etc.

The stage measures 7m x 11.25 m and is well equipped for theatrical productions with an overhead lighting box, dressing rooms and the usual backstage facilities with a lighting engineer in attendance to to give practical advice and help set up the show.

The Armstrong Hall complex is licensed for public music and dancing, has a licensed bar and catering facilities for meals and hot drinks.
