The Washburn Heritage Centre is a new and beautiful building in a tranquil and rural setting. It can suit a range of events, including workshops, talks, meetings, suppers, family celebrations. We have full audio/visual equipment and wi-fi and can seat 24 cafe style, 50 theatre style, 24 boardroom style. Doors along one side open up to an outdoor seating area with bistro table and chairs.
The Centre operates as a tea room on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-4.30pm from 1 April to 31 October, where visitors can also enjoy our exhibition. From 1 November to 31 March, opening times reduce to Sundays only from 11am-4pm.
At other times across the week, the Centre operates a programme of events and activities, which are available to view on a leaflet that can be collected from the Centre or on the website
