The Fairford Leys Centre is a large community centre at the heart of Fairford Leys Village on the outskirts of Aylesbury. It is owned and managed by Coldharbour Parish Council and was officially opened in May 2003.
The centre employs full- and part time staff, covering evenings and weekends. It is fully staffed at all times.
It has a number of hirers who use the halls for various activities throughout the day and evenings.
Bookings are taken for weddings, christenings and birthday parties etc. It is also fully licenced for alcohol and music.
The Coldharbour Parish Council offices are situated upstairs opposite a small meeting area known as The Gallery.
Council enquiries are dealt with and it acts as the main offices for the parich council.
The parish council's monthly meetings are also held there. Parish councillors are always popping in for coffee and a chat!
The council also employ two Grounds Maintenance Officers that are based at the centre.
Several council led community events are held throughout the year which the centre is involved in.
The centre itself also hosts various events, i.e Halloween parties, Grease Nights and New Years' Eve parties.
