The Almscliffe Hall exists for the benefit of the residents of Huby, Newby, Castley, North Rigton , Stainbum and Weeton and is also available for hire to the general public as a venue for a variety of functions.
The hall has a range of high-quality facilities including and is well equipped and maintained.
It supports a number of clubs and societies, including: Bridge, Cricket, Playgroup, Snooker, Tennis and Bowls, Table Tennis, Carpet Bowls and the Weeton Players. Huby and Weeton Pre-School are also based at the hall.
The Hall is available for hire to the general public and the facilities, which include a function room, a stage, bar with 50 inch TV, and a well-equipped and recently refurbished kitchen, make it an excellent venue for dances, dinners, wedding parties, plays and concerts. Groups of up to 120 can be accommodated. Free Wi-Fi available (password required).
