We’re an arts centre and charity based in Bristol and we’ve been supporting individuals and communities to get the most out of digital technologies and the arts since 1996. In practice, this means providing exciting and relevant ways for people to get involved in community activism, education, employment, and local decision-making.

Our activities range from after-school groups for young people and innovative energy-saving projects, to music workshops and art exhibitions. Take a look at the ‘Projects’ section to find out what’s going on at the moment and see our projects live in action. Many of them have been replicated and learnt from elsewhere in the UK and Europe!

You can commission us to undertake bespoke creative projects, such as graphic design, video production, and social media consultancy, and we also offer event, meeting and office space for hire within our strawbale building.

As our name suggests, we wouldn’t be anywhere without Knowle West, an estate of approximately 5,500 households in the south of Bristol. Since we began we’ve been working with residents, local organisations and young people to develop new and creative models for achieving positive social change – and celebrate the assets of our community.

Western room with beautiful view, seating up to 15. WIFI connectivity, full video conferencing and Apple TV air play for presentations and workshops. £20ph - £140.00 per day

Truth room, seating up to 12. WIFI connectivity £15ph - £105 per day

Main studio, seating up to 70 or 100 standing. WIFI connectivity, full video conferencing and Apple TV air play for presentations, workshops, conferences. The space can be set up in any style requested. Ideal for larger meetings, launches, creative sessions and discussion groups. £40ph - £250 per day

General technical support is included in all the prices.

Our Centre is fitted with an induction loop.

We can also provide catering for your event via a local catering company, from light refreshments to buffets and afternoon tea or breakfast!

Our building is fully accessible and we are environmentally friendly. Small onsite carpark with disable parking - offsite parking in the surrounding area is free. Bike racking also available.
