STAITHES VILLAGE MEMORIAL HALL, ORIGINALLY A DRILL HALL FOR THE TERRITORIAL ARMY, WAS BOUGHT BY PUBLIC DONATION TO BE A PERPETUAL MEMORIAL FOR THOSE PEOPLE OF THE VILLAGE AND HINTERLAND WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN TWO WORLD WARS.
THE BUILDING WAS REFURBISHED IN 2003 AND HAS PORCH AND ENTRANCE SPACE, A LARGE SPACIOUS MAIN HALL WHICH CAN BE PARTITIONED TO FORM TWO ROOMS, A COMMITTEE ROOM, AND WELL EQUIPT KITCHEN. TOILETS AND DISABLED FASCILITIES. WE ALSO HAVE A PORTABLE STAGE AND SMALL SOUND SYSTEM . USERS USERS STEP DIRECTLY OFF THE PAVEMENT INTO THE BUILDING.
WE HAVE ACCESS TO A PARKING AREA DURING THE DAY WITH PARKING FOR TWENTY FOUR CARS.
