The single-standing Hall was carefully designed and purpose-built 32 years ago in the centre of a large square to the rear of the ancient church of St Thomas a Becket at the end of Cliffe High Street in Lewes.
The Hall has a sprung wooden floor and high wooden ceilings. The main floor is 95 m2 plus a raised stage of 15 m2 (total 110 m2) off one side of the Hall. Please see the photographs to appreciate how special this Hall is.
The Hall is owned by the Cliffe Feoffees, a registered charity, formed in 1603 for the reparation of St Thomas a Becket Church, Cliffe, and the sustentation of the poor.
