Henry VIII granted the manor of Southover to his fourth wife and the beautiful timber-framed Anne of Cleves House preserves her name. Today the house is open to the public and displays Sussex and Lewes treasures from Tudor times onwards. Open 1 February to 30 November 10am to 5pm (11am opening Sundays/Mondays).Family event:Wed 29 May Tudor Tailor – have a go at spinning & sewing. Find out about Tudor costumesAlso available for educational workshops, weddings and functions.
