The two villages of Alciston and Selmeston, both of Saxon origin, nestle at the foot of the South Downs between Lewes and Eastbourne.
Our jointly shared village hall is situated just off the A27 in The Street, Selmeston.
The hall enjoys a glorious setting adjacent to our large cricket field with views across to
the Downs to the south and there is limited car parking off the road. Recent modernisation means that the hall makes a wonderful venue for weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, office functions and parties, visitors wishing to explore the beauty of the South Downs, concerts, events, meetings and presentations, all at very competitive rates.
