The Village Hall was completed in the Millennium year. It is located at the very heart of Stratton, adjacent to the village green, opposite the thatched public house, The Saxon Arms and close by the 13th century St Mary’s Church. There is free parking in The Square beside the Hall.

The Village Hall is multi-purpose with two main rooms, the Ashley Hall and the Aylott Room. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, two changing rooms, disabled facilities and a pay phone.

The Ashley Hall

This 18 by 11 metre large airy room is ideal for many types of indoor sport, with marked up courts for badminton and volleyball. The Hall can comfortably seat up to 200 people, has eight round tables each seating 8, plus a variety of other tables and furniture. There is a portable stage suitable for dance or drama productions, bands, discos or high table at formal events. The stage has 32 units of 0.75m2 and is easy to assemble.
