Pickering Friends Meeting House is a Grade 2 listed building dating from 1793. It has always been owned by the Society of Friends (Quakers) and the building stands near to Pickering's Norman castle on the North side of the town with a vantage point looking over the town and steam railway. It is heated via an air source heat pump which provides a comfortable all-year temperature. There are three rooms available for hire. The building also has a beautiful garden which is well-known for its sense of peace and stillness. Conditions of hire request no smoking on the premises and no alcohol in the building or garden.
