Mealbank Hall is a Scout owned headquarters in the Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton. The building was completed in 2009 as a superb facility, not only for the local Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, but also for other organisation and individuals who hire the premises for open days, fairs, children’s parties, meetings and much more.
Individual rooms are available for private and corporate events or the whole building booked for larger scale functions. Prices are roughly compatible with those of the Ingleborough Community Centre. Equipment available for use includes a digital projector and screen, seating for sixty people, folding tables and games equipment including table tennis and badminton facilities etc.

The fully fitted kitchen has stainless steel work surfaces, sinks, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, catering sized electric cooker with extractor fan, water boiler, and heated cupboard. It also has a microwave, pans and cooking utensils, as well as crockery and cutlery for sixty people.

Hatches through to the hall and into the adjacent meeting room make serving easy. There are male and female toilets plus a shower in the disabled toilet. Heating is provided by an environmentally friendly air source heat pump. The caretaker’s cupboard, which has a Belfast sink with hot and cold water, is well stocked with cleaning materials.

A small room suitable for committee meetings has tables and seating for ten, as well as a wide screen TV with DVD/video and Wii facilities. The building also has a computer network system and telephone line.
