Medbourne Village Hall in Leicestershire is a beautiful venue which you can hire for parties, weddings, birthdays, family or group get-togethers, exercise classes, etc. Our venue is an iconic 19th century listed building in the heart of Medbourne village and was originally designed by Joseph Goddard in 1869 as the village school.

The hall consists of the main hall, a fully equipped kitchen (renovated summer 2024) and a room suitable for small meetings. Both rooms benefit from gas fired central heating. The main hall is suitable for larger meetings, parties, wedding receptions etc (but we do not have a Premises License for weddings).
We also have a beautiful outside space for use when the weather is good!

Please note that bouncy castles and other inflatables not permitted inside or outside.
The main hall measures 11.4 m x 6.1 m and will accommodate about 80 people seated or 120 standing. The small hall measures 6.1 m x 6.1 m. This has a galley kitchen attached with a large serving hatch into the room. The kitchen was fully refurbished in the summer of 2024, and has brand new convection hobs, a new fridge/freezer, and an industrial dishwasher.

In addition to male and female toilets, there are facilities for those with disabilities and the rooms are all on one level. There are 80 contemporary lightweight vinyl covered tubular steel chairs available on stacking trolleys. The 25 tables comprise 7 large folding 4ft x 2 ft 6 inch; 8 smaller folding 3ft x 2 ft 6 inch; and 10 tables suitable for children. Display stands are available on request (additional charges apply).
