Hill Close Gardens are a unique set of Victorian detached gardens. We are able to hire our 'green' Lammas room for many types of events including business meetings to workshops. Our venue offers a calm light and airy space to offer a different dynamic to your meeting or event. We have a fully equipped kitchen for use and all the equipment needed to allow for a stress free event. We are proud that our building is energy efficient with a ground source heat pump gathering heat from the ground and 4kw of solar power for electricity.

Lammas Room

The Lammas Room in our Visitor Centre is ideal for lectures, seminars, parties, away days, and large or small group meetings.

It accommodates up to 60 people with lecture room layout, or 48 people seated at tables. The room is comfortable, has fully adjustable lighting and is well-ventilated. Equipment includes a PA system with radio microphone, a drop down screen for use with our overhead LCD projector or OHP projector, and a flip chart easel / whiteboard with paper and pens. There are ample vertical surfaces to stick up and display flip chart pages.

There are modern toilet facilities, and the building is fully DDA compliant.

The Lammas Room looks out over the attractive Gardens, and users are welcome to make use of the adjacent outdoor space. A guided tour of the Gardens can be arranged for an additional charge. Contact the Centre Manager for details on 01926 493339.

Users are welcome to make and serve their own hot and cold drinks and light meals from our fully equipped kitchen with service into the Lammas Room.
