Refurbishments during lockdown
24 March 2021
During lockdown the Trust has used this time to deliver a range of environmental upgrades to the Linskill Centre to improve the visitor experience including heating management and lighting. Trevelyan and Burnett Halls have had their original wooden parquet floors refurbished and Burnett has had its ceiling lowered to improve acoustics.
Several of the meetings rooms have been upgraded, including the provision of video conferencing facilities into Bede and Blanchland Rooms.
Project Langley - new visual
24 March 2021
Project Langley is progressing and the latest visual of the new colourway in this multi-use space is shown. The adjoining room Cafe 32 is also undergoing a refurbishment in similar colourways to complement the Langley Room.
Refurbishment of Trevelyan and Burnett Halls
25 January 2021
As part of energy efficiency projects by the Trust the refurbishment of Trevelyan Hall and Burnett Hall at the Linskill Centre is now complete. New heating and lighting have been installed and the original parquet floor has been restored to its former glory. Burnett hall has had its ceiling lowered to improve the acoustics.
Both Trevelyan Hall and Burnett Halls are now ready for the return of groups, events and weddings.
Project Langley

With funding secured from an Ecclesiastical ‘Movement for Good Award’ the former IT Hub is being transformed into a serviced social space to meet the needs of our community. The Langley Room will become the latest addition to the growing venue hire portfolio at the Linskill Centre and will be complete and operational by March (restrictions permitting) for the booking of meetings, groups and social functions.
Equipped with the audio-visual, video and conferencing facilities the room has a capacity of 32 (16 with social distancing) dependent upon room layout. With modular furniture this versatile space can easily be adapted for a range of uses including board room, classroom, meeting, workshop or social gathering.
