FSC Preston Montford has 131 beds across 3 blocks with 47 bedrooms in total:
- The main house has 18 dormitory rooms, the majority with en-suites. These can provide a total of 58 beds
- The Wenlock building is on the ground floor – suitable for the less mobile and has 10 twin-bedded en-suite rooms and 2 triple en-suite bedrooms, one of which is suitable for wheelchair access
- The Darwin building has 17 en-suite rooms sleeping 51, with a ground floor wheelchair accessible room. Z-beds are available on request; please confirm availability first. We do not have cots, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Queen Anne Common Room (ground floor main house) – Chesterfield Sofas that seat roughly 25, with options to add chairs to accommodate around 40, Theatre Style. TV/DVD facilities and some board games are available.
Darwin Common Room (Darwin block) - 20 informal/conference/theatre style seating with TV/DVD facilities.
The Ante Room – in the Main House, and can seat 12 people. TV and table football.
Conference suitable space – Largest conference space seats 65 in Caradoc classroom or 100 in the dining room, lecture style seating,g although no whiteboard in dining room.
Class/work rooms & capacities – 6 of varying sizes, seating from 24-65 people, all have interactive whiteboards with ceiling-mounted data projectors and internet access for WiFi-enabled laptops.
There is a licensed bar stocked with local ales, spirits, wines, soft drinks and snacks and a shop. These are not available to self-catering groups unless special arrangements are made prior to the visit.
Camping is available in the adjacent field for an extra fee. Please ask for more details.
Activities can be arranged for both adults and children (subject to availability), these are chargeable and must be booked in advance. Please ask for more information.

Within the 12-hectare estate, there are picnic tables, orienteering courses, a small 5-a-side football area, a sensory garden, and space for a marquee on the back field/lawn/carpark. There are 2 campfire areas with space for 30 people at each. Walking paths through fields and woodland areas.
The nearest shops/pubs/banks can be found in Shrewsbury, a 10-minute drive away.
