FSC Millport is a Field Studies Council centre on the tiny Isle of Cumbrae off the west coast of Scotland. Right on the edge of the sea with breathtaking views across the Firth of Clyde to the main land and other islands, you will get a real taste of island life. However, it is surprisingly accessible, just 1.5 hours from Glasgow including a 10 minute ferry journey from Largs. The centre sleeps 129 across two separate buildings. All rooms are twin except for 2 singles and there are 24 en suite rooms on the ground floor. The centre is ideal for schools, universities, clubs and corporate groups with a range of break-out rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms and lots of communal space. FSC Millport has its own Aquarium and Museum and can organise a wide variety of outdoor activities. It is equally suited to a family holiday or for groups of all sizes to get together for an adventure, a reunion or a big celebration. You can book room only, B&B or full board. Self-catering is possible if you book the whole Centre Sorry but no stag or hen parties. The accommodation was completely refurbished in 2016 to a very high standard. It has great eco credentials with a biomass boiler, a green roof and sensor lights in all common areas.
