The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum is housed within a beautiful grade II listed historic building, that was originally built in the early 1840s as the Gloucester Customs House. The Museum venue as a whole is available for hire, or the Regimental Boardroom that is houses - perfect for meetings or functions.

The Regimental Boardroom is located on the first floor of the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, in an area not accessible to the general public.

It is a fantastically unique space, that can be used in various ways. The original regimental boardroom table is extremely impressive and works very well for meetings. The boardroom table can be removed and the room can also be used in a lecture style (with rows of chairs facing one end), and in a cabaret style (with individual round tables with chairs around each).

The Regimental Boardroom has a fully stocked bar just next door, which can be staffed and opened up if needed.

The capacity of the room is 20 for boardroom layout, 25 for lecture style layout, and 30 for a cabaret layout. There is also a very large 65" smart TV screen which can be hired for an additional flat fee of £15 (regardless of how many hours). This screen can be linked to a laptop for presentations, or you can access the internet directly through the screen.

PLEASE NOTE that the boardroom can only be accessed via a flight of stairs, and so is not fully accessible. Please bear this in mind when booking.
