Aldborough Community Centre was established in 1976 and registered as Charity No. 268101. The building was previously The Temperance Society and Coffee Hall. The Centre is managed by a locally elected committee comprising approximately 20 members including representatives of the different clubs, societies, and organisations which use the Centre.

The Centre boasts a large hall with stage, lounge bar, snooker room, well-equipped kitchen and modern toilets with separate disabled facilities. A digital projector and screen together with wi-fi make this an excellent venue for meetings and training days. The Centre is used for all kinds of activities ranging from pantomimes, shows, dances, discos, bingo, a village luncheon club and numerous clubs and society activities etc. It is a popular venue for birthday parties, wedding receptions and even funeral wakes.
