We have made great progress with modernising the building so it can be used by everyone. New doors, windows, loft insulation, electrical re-wiring, heaters, kitchen, & fire alarm system. We have dealt with dry rot, replaced the kitchen & toilet roof & fitted new windows. We want to complete the decorating, & carry on with improving furnishings & facilities. The latest addition has been solar panels made possible with aid of a grant by Cumbria County Council. Many of these improvements have been made possible by the support of people in the village & surrounding area. Please keep it up!
We have more fund raising events to come, & there are other events being organised on our behalf. Please support them, & be as generous as you can.
